To find and accelerate cures for cancers and other diseases by fostering and rewarding a community of collaboration and innovation. We seek to spread awareness, expedite research and kinder treatments, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
THE POWER OF DATA
COLLABORATION IS CRUCIAL
We believe we can find a cure for cancer in our lifetime. To that end we have helped develop a large scale database that houses molecular, genetic, clinical and environmental data on pediatric brain tumors.
We reward qualified researchers and institutions who share data with the database by giving them free access to the database, leveraging existing grant funding, and creating new grants through fundraising efforts.
In order to innovate cancer research, we need to seek input from a wide variety of places. To that end, we support open data projects that share data with the world - not just a select group of hospitals. Access to the data should be available to everyone.
